Is it just me that thinks the cone filter is going to get rather a lot of warm air in there?!

There's a scoop in the bonnet there, so it probably gets a lot of air rammed towards the filter

If it is getting warm air, I would want to have a decent FMIC to cool that air down a lot.

Ah - that'll teach me to look at more than one photo next time

Budget consious as i always am i started doing some pricing.

i reckon at 4 grand to get it on the road doing it all the work myself.

The biggest chunk of that will be for a donor ibiza.

Hopefully claw back some pennies from the ibiza parts i wont use.

priority will be to get it going then uprate parts later as i go along..

Just buy a cupra and bang a Skoda badge on it

Avoid yellow though - stands out a bit!
