2007 VRS PD 170 - Brake Pad suggestions

Featured Replies

just removed the DPF and remapped the car to 200bhp with 343 ft lbs of torque a few weeks back and now need new brakes :)

Am thinking about getting a decent set of performance pads but was curious as to what people are using .. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Cheers

Hi my 2006 Octavia VRS came with Mintex pads and the stopping power is incredible! Also they give off hardly any brake dust meaning my alloys stay clean!

IMHO Ferrodo DS2500. I've run several sets of these on my modified 6Y Fabia and 5J Roomster both of which ran in excess of 200 ponies. I will replace the pads on the superb with them also when the time comes.

Ditto to the above.

Do you use the DS2500 pads on OEM discs Jonny5ive ?
