Install xenon

Featured Replies

Hi

I have found a good opportunity of Skoda Yeti but it don't have xenon...

Can I install it? How?

Is Skoda black pack ...

Thanks

I think most halogen equipped Yeti's have reflector style headlights which are not suitable for drop in kits.

The correct way is quite expensive as you'll need new xenon headlights, level sensors and an AFS module. Ideally you'd also add washer jets if they aren't standard on the model you're looking at too.

I haven't got a link or price as I'm not aware of anyone that does a full kit for the Yeti.

As a rough idea, http://hazzydayz.com/ offer fitting for some cars and charge £1650+VAT for fitting xenons to a MK6 Golf.

I did the same to my MK2 FL Octavia and it was about £650:

- £100 2x new D1S

- £150 for the sensors, AFS module, wiring and dimmer switch without range adjustment

- £400 for two new xenon headlights including all control modules and ballasts

It's likely to be the headlights that are most expensive part. Dealer price will probably be £400-500 per side so if you can find good second hand units they should save money.
