fabia 1.2tsi auto info

Featured Replies

Hi, i am currently looking to buy a fabia11 1.2 tsi auto, the car i have looked at has had the timing chain replaced in 2015 by skoda (sticker in boot and invoice in service book) the car has also had the turbo replaced recently by the dealer although the salesman wasn't sure why? the car drove well and was smooth changing gear and pulling away (something i heard could be a problem with the autos?)  apart from a small oil leak/weap from the top timing chain cover is there anything else to look for and are turbos a common problem on them? thanks in advance.

Welcome.

Sounds like one best to avoid as there are plenty cars out there.

Is this a Mk2 Fabia,  so how old, pre 2013?

The DSG should not be an issue, other than maybe it should have had the DSG Service Campaign, there would be a sticker in the boot.

Says '34F7'

the car you are looking at might be all fixed but who knows.  There is a leak so someone did a crap job, Walk away.
