Car currently in limp mode, EML Light on. 

 

When car has travelled 10 miles roughly and the car restarted. It comes out of limp mode with EML light still on. 

 

Once car car has been standing for a few hours it's back into limp mode. 

 

Both throttle bodies have been changed. 

 

Anybody else had had experience with that code?

turbo control unit 

but first try cleaning the air intake valve

i would personally get it code read with vagcom as people are saying this issue throws up a few different codes , also the parts will be cheaper on eBay so 1000 pounds sounds steep

Give us some history of the car, engine type, age, miles, past issues, servicing or maintenance done, is it as left the factory or had breather mods & software updates?

if anyone has that and EML & Limp Mode could likely be Supercharger Magnetic Clutch Open Circuit. 

So Water Pump needing replaced.
