Hello,

 

I'm after some advice my headlight level is off! I had the rear wheels off for cleaning and noticed the level sensor was broken (now fixed with superglue). I noticed the headlights were pointing to the sky. Can i use Vag com to re-calibrate the headlights?

Are you sure that you glued the level sensor in correct position?

I had problems with my Superb some years ago and it was the level sensor arm that pointed backward when it should be pointing forward (or maybe it was the opposite, I dont remember)

Hi Norsko,

 

Thank you for the reply, I did make sure I glued it back together properly. When I connected the car up to the computer there was a fault code on the sensor, i just removed it and the headlight reset themselves to what they should be.

I've just looked at the link and noticed the golf unit and arm are better designed and look tougher. The Octy is just push on ball joints! :( I'll take a photo and upload it as soon as i can.
