Just confirmed our order of a race blue 1.4 petrol estate in SE L trim  There is a black and grey quartz in the country but have decided to wait on a factory order.

 

The dealer is quoting 14 weeks, putting our plans of a summer camping holiday in France in a bit of jeopardy. Is the 14 weeks realistic or is it worst case, do they tend to arrive any quicker?

Depends on Orders. Once the Factory accepts the order the car will get a provisional build week and the car will start off as Status 10. The build week can be moved forwards or backwards at this stage. Once the build week is confirmed the car will go to Status 20 and the build will be that week. I think the car is built in a day or less so it's about 4 to 6 weels from being build to arriving at the dealers depending on transport to the docks, space on the train/boat/car transporter to the dealers. I'd ring the dealers at some point and ask what status the build is at to give you an idea.

Don't let the dealers fob you off by saying they don't know, they do it's on there system.
