choice of car

Featured Replies

I have had a strange journey with regards to choosing a new car.having recently lost my father I needed a car that I could get my elderly mum in.i needed a large boot for a wheelchair etc and 4 doors.my current car is a mini coopers supercharged, which is great fun, even on our third world roads over here.started off looking at a Honda crv which was to high,an asx mitsu ,to expensive and a Peugeot  which was to French.never really considered a skoda, although my former neighbour rated them highly as a police car.i knew of the Octavia having lots of space having been in one a few years ago as a taxi.vrs are sought after here and rarely come up for sale, especially at my budget.took to autotrader and was soon off to Mansfield to a good dealer who had 3.i brought my car straight away.im very happy with it.its such a smooth engine with an endless band of power.checking the price of spares it seems cheaper the the cooper.will probally go to main dealer for servicing unless I can find a good independent over here
