Gappy VRS!

Featured Replies

Although I love my car to bits, I can't help thinking that the gap between wheels/tyres and body looks too big even though it's fitted with 18" alloys!! (see piccy). Don't really want to mess around with suspension at this stage but I am contemplating fitting different size tyres when the need arises. Tyres fitted as standard are 225/40/R18 was maybe thinking 225/45/R18 or 235/40/R18. Any other sugestions or am I suffering the early stages of paranoia?.

It does look gappy, must look pants on 17's. :thumbdwn:

I wouldn't muck around with the tyre profiles. But I would get it lowered 25mm. ;)

It does look gappy yeah from that angle. i was suprised though when i test drove a blue one on 17's apperently. It looked ok!

Skoda's promotial pics make the car look considerably lower than it actualy is.

Not the VRS - but I don't think my sport looks bad on 17's. Had lots of nice comments from friends. The car is fairly tall so this probably adds to the illusion. Actually Makefish - I think your VRS looks fab!!!

Take a look at the new 3 series BMW - reckon you could but 19's on that thing and it would still look like a shopping cart! :thumbdwn:
