I spend a lot of time in my Octavia 111 SE L Estate in local supermarket car parks watching catchup tv on my Galaxy S8 (showing off there - it was a S6 until two days ago) with Bluetooth sound on the Amundsen whilst SWMBO is shopping. Every now and again the display lights to tell me the date and time. This is completely independent of the half hourly ignition on to re-engage the Bluetooth connection.

 

Any idea why it does this? I haven't noticed it doing this when I am not there!!!??

Just in case a week has slipped by and your missus hasn't reappeared?
