Connector for Front Indicator Bulb on VRS

Featured Replies

So at the weekend I replaced my vrs front indicator bulbs with LED ones.

On the passenger side, I had very little play in the wiring so getting the bulb out of the connector was rather tricky and in the process broke both securing clips on the connector.

Does anybody know the part number for a replacement, or am I looking at visiting a breakers yard and cutting the connector off an existing loom? Also is it the same connector on the halogen lights?

Currently I used some super glue to hold the bulb in place, which seems to work for now but would prefer to have a proper connector.

Which bulbs did you go for? Been wanting to do this for ages and bought the repair covers, but want to ensure I get a decent bulb that's bright enough with that deep amber colour. Do you have a video of the new indicator bulbs in action?

The ones I bought look to be these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-Error-Free-Yellow-PWY24W-PW24W-36-SMD-LED-Bulbs-For-Audi-A3-A4-A5-Q3/32276061881.html, though when I bought them there were just 2 pieces per lot, not 4.

I will post a video up later.

@WayTooTall thanks appreciate it! Will take a look at the link. Video to see them in action would be awesome, cheers :)
