Skoda Fabia needs new home

I have a grey Skoda Fabia from 2000 (W Reg) that has been sat on my drive and not driven for 6 months. Anyone got any suggestions of what to do with it? Feels a shame to just scrap it.

Is there a local college or training facility local that could use the car as a project ( unless it's road worth, may be worth search a 'free' mot ( if fails ) centre to get the low down on the car in writing then offer it for sale, local paper shop windows super market advert board etc

I am having problems with the rear offside door lock on our 2018 Super 2.0L SE Technology diesel estate. The drivers door switch panel includes the two child lock buttons. When locking the car the rear offside door remains unlocked, therefore we have to keep it locked via the small turn screw on the edge of the door. Having looked into new lock prices, I decided to try a second hand one from a 'reputable' supplier, only to find that this replacement is doing the same thing. I conclude therefore

I have been getting a rubbing noise from the rear end of my 2020 kodiaq when turning left and right, I've had it in the garage a few times but been told by Arnold Clark it's a noise all kodiaq like mine make 🤷 then I spoke to Skoda who told me they a talking complete nonsense, anyone had this issue that can help me out please

Hello. My 2014 Octavia 1.8 4x4 has developed a strange issue. There is a vibration coming from the rear of the car when driving. It feels like if there was severe unbalance, or a flat spot on the tires. I have however ruled out this possibility, by first having the wheels rebalanced, and then having the tires replaced. With no change. Symptoms: - Heavy vibration from rear of car. (No steering wheel vibration) - Can sometimes be felt from 20kmh. Frequency increases with wheel

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode
