The Octavia Mk 2 I think has been out for about 2 years, when do you think it will start to effect values of MK1 or have values already been effected?

There are two points where I'd have thought Mk1 octy values would be affected.

Firstly when the Mk2 went on sale (and the old ones were discounted to clear) , and then a couple of years later when there are a reasonable number of the Mk2s available second hand at substantially less than new cars.

With that in mind I don't think there are likely to be any large drops in value now.
