I am proposing to fit a dashcam with permanent wiring. I propose to piggyback it onto a fuse in the fusebox behind the glovebox. I want to identify a fuse that will switch with the ignition. I am concerned that with the CAN BUS systems an unexpected extra electrical load will cause problems. Can anyone help me to identify a suitable fuse.

Many Thanks

Did the hard work (aka search) for you :tongueout:

Fuse 47 (rear wiper) is a good bet.

Word of warning, my camera used to fail to power up when start/stop was enabled until the car made it's first start/stop.

Oddly, I think it stopped after a few months so it's always on when I turn the ignition on.
