Hi friends, 

I have a 2004 octavia mk1 Estate. When i lock the doors, there is no warning lights or beep sound on my car. But when i unlock, only lights come on.

Also front passenger door doesnt activate the interior light of the car and i cant see that the door is open on the dashboard screen.

Can you help me? 

Sounds like the micro switch has gone on the front passenger door. There it's a sticky on how to replace it but to be honest replacing the door lock mechanism is easier.  

Mine has never made a "beep", just the "clunk" of the solenoids moving.

The "Beep" on locking/unlocking is only an option if you have the factory alarm system, after all you wouldn't want the main horn blasting out when your unlocking at 4am !!
