Fabia Monte Carlo MK3 - The New Arrival + Mud flaps?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

And so we finally have a Fabia Monte Carlo MK3 (16 Plate) 2000 miles after 6 months of searching. Had to be 16 plate so we could stay on £20 tax per year! the wife is most pleased so now we wave goodbye to the citigo.

I wanted to get some mud flaps fitted but the dealer has said they dont fit them to the rear as there is no part no. (they wanted £54 just to put the fronts on!)

I have found these links on Superskoda so will do it myself but there are 2 links for the rear ones, some other posts say to use the 'combi' ones.

many thanks

I have these from Superskoda... have the hatchback ones fitted to the rear as mine is not the estate / combi.

No more than 1/2 hour to fit without any modification.

One wonders when Dealership employees are going to grasp that MK3 Monte Carlo are just like other Mk3 Fabia as a hatch or estate and there are no plastic trim bits as there were on Mk2 Monte Carlo.

Some dealerships employees seem to look, see what fits then fits them, and some are just stupid.

Fiited them on my Monty Estate no problem - Didn't have any issues took about 30 mins to do all 4 if you need pics let me know.

I had mine from Horton Skoda - I basically has the protection pack but it worked out cheaper to buy the matts. boot mat and mud flap individually as they had an offer on.

I fitted mk 2 Octavia mudflaps to my mk3 Monty. No issues.

Mudflaps do fit the back , you may have to adjust them.

Would send a pic but don't have it anymore , back in Octavia.
