Took delivery of ours today and very pleased with it too.

I'm having my garage converted, 3 skips full of "stuff that will come in useful"

and am still having to weed it out of my new shed (by Beast sheds) so I can move!

Very pleased with ours.  First real drive this weekend 300 mile round trip.  So a summary of the pros and cons.

 

Cons

 

As someone meantioned on another thread, no gas strut bonnet lifter, only a small convenience.

 

Missing the Electronic Handbrake on the previous car an A3.  While it was hard to get use too we both miss that drive stop and release now.  Only rolled back twice !  

 

Pluses

 

Auto lights, never had them before, work very well.

 

Driving position, love being that bit higher up.

 

DAB had it before but the outgoing car didn't have song / artist info and didn't work quite as well as the Skoda one.

 

Climate control, only had air con in the past.  Solves Mrs saying it's too hot or cold.

 

Havent checked the MPG, but it appears on the tank level to be much the same if not slightly better than the A3, dispite it being as good as the same engine.

 

Cruise control, again not something we have had before.  Great !  Love it !

 

Moves better at slow speed, parking seems easier than the A3.

 

Love the colour.

 

 

So are we pleased and do we like it, well it's a firm yes.
