Max Torque "stage 3" SMF and 6 paddle clutch for 6 speed 02M gearbox.

 

This was fitted to my car for 7000 miles and started slipping, it was returned under warranty and this is the replacement I received (I could not have my car off the road and so had to bite the bullet and brought a Sachs SRE setup).

 

The flywheel looks untouched to when I took it out but the clutch cover and plate both appear to be replaced, Max Torque Clutches told me this is the newer stronger version of their 6 speed 1.9TDI "stage 3" clutch.

 

Flywheels weighs 10kg, it's noisy on idle (same as all SMF setups) and the SMF/paddle clutch is not going to be as civilised as a standard clutch (don't be surprised at a sharper biting point and a little judder at low rpm), Max Torque say the clutch is rated at 420Lbs torque.
