Is it possible to code and use a mk3 fob on a mk2 fl ? Quite a nice looking fob 

Check out custom keys, they sell all the bits required to do this conversion. 

Custom keys do some great conversions. 

I've looked at the Custom Keys website and I can't find any listing for the FL key (led at the top of the key).

 

Do they not do these or are these keys tricky to re-shell? 

 

I have one that needs doing but I'm loathe to diy it as it is a tricky job.

Really like the new type of key they do fabia mk3 and octy mk 3 key plus on the superskoda website they do the bottom chrome in vrs shape

I enquired with custom keys about this & they are releasing the kit within the next couple of weeks.
