Back seat will not fold down

Went out in my Fabia Vrs today and I needed to fold down the back seats in order to get something in the back back as I pulled on the latch to put the largest part of the seat down nothing happens?? 

The leaver comes ones up but that's it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do I need to replace the seat it's self or can it be fixed as it's driving me mad that I cannot fold it down so any help / advice would be awesome
