Am I right in thinking the Octavia vrs mk1 on a 53 plate which I am due to pick up Thursday has hb4 dipped and main beam and a h3 fog light...just looking to get some better bulbs than the standard ones..most sites say hb4 but not many list the front fogs..

It has the same lights as my Elegance, so yes H4 main/dip and H3 fogs. There's no point in uprating the fogs though, because they're much shorter ranged than the standard dip, and only useful in fog or falling snow.
