2.0 TSI (CCZA) timing chain check

Featured Replies

I managed to have a quick code scan of a 2012 VRS I'm considering buying.

Is the info below correct for checking condition of the time cam chain?

The car also logged a P2015 intermittent code, though no EML light and only recently had 3 injectors replaced my main dealer.

Just trying to get my head round whether to budget for taking the manifold off to de-coke, as well as do the timing chain

Thanks in advance.

Can anyone help?

I think from what I've read on other forums the 28kw value is not good, but would appreciate someone with more knowledge than me to comment.

P2015 refers to an issue with the intake manifold flap

Any reason why you are using software that is 2 years out of date?

Yeh, it's been sat in a drawer for ages and I was out of wifi range when I hooked it up in the car.

Managed to find an answer to the cam chain value in other thread
