SKODA FABIA 1.2 SE L 108bhp DSG P/EX VRS

PRICE £9000 NO OFFERS

Going to give this a chance on here before I trade it or sell it to Evans Halshaw

Having sold my Mk1 Fabia VRS at the start of last year, I’ve missed it ever since. I cant put my finger on why really. On paper, this TSi is marginally quicker than the VRS 0 -60 and there’s not much in it at the top end either, although this is largely irrelevant anyway. I guess what I miss most is the torque, the extra power and instant overtaking ability on the motorway.

Either way, as nice as this car is, I have a little more money tied up in it than I would like. So I’m advertising it here to see if there’s any interest before I sell it on to Evans Halshaw. I haven’t advertised this anywhere else at the moment.

The price of £9000 is what I have been offered by them so it is firm I'm afraid.

I’ve been looking around in the classifieds recently at some Mk1 VRS Fabias, so I would be willing to consider a part ex plus cash. It would need to be in good condition, with a decent FSH and ideally with Leather, although that's not a deal breaker.

Anyway, on to my car...............It was first registered on 31/07/2015 and is on a “15” plate. I purchased this car from Lookers Skoda in February 2016 with 1000 miles on it. It was their demo car. The car now has 10300 miles on it which will keep rising slowly as it remains in use.

Over and above the SE L spec this car has the following:

Sports seats

Sports suspension

Electric rear windows

17” alloy wheels

Panoramic roof

Now that the engine has a few miles on it and has bedded in, it now returns mid to high 40mpg in normal use, 50+ on a run.

There are no significant marks on the car and not a scratch on any of the alloy wheels. The only thing that is damaged is I managed to catch the near side wing mirror on my gate a while back. This has damaged the black plastic mirror casing. The painted cover and glass is all still intact and it still heats and adjusts absolutely fine. On a cursory glance, you might not even notice, but it's there so I'm telling you. Also, where I have to park so close to my garage door in order to get the gates shut, I have, on occasion, stopped against the garage door itself. So on the upper edge of the front number plate surround, there is a very small area of white paint from the garage door. This may even come off, I just haven't tried thus far.

Not realising that the car was on variable servicing, I even had it serviced at Reading Skoda on its 1yr anniversary.

Skoda warranty and breakdown cover until July 2018. Hpi clear and no finance outstanding. It also comes from a non smoking pet free house, so no nasty smells inside.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car, its just me missing my Mk1 VRS. I don't do that many miles pa these days and frankly I don't need a nearly new car to do them in.

Any interest then please PM me. Thanks.
