Anybody fitted LED blinkers in side mirrors?

Featured Replies

Guys,

Tried searching forum, but nothing coming up. Anybody fitted these on MK3 Octavia? Is there a space behind a mirror glass to fit this product? There are few options available - 2 or 3 rows or COB led type. Looks fantastic +great easy upgrade for very little money.

Not shure are you spamming ads for this but I find the standard blinker quite enough good solution.

As they face the rear of the car they would supplement the rear indicators; that doesn't seem at all necessary.  Distracting for the driver?  If the mirrors are adjusted so that the driver can see behind the car won't these be aimed at his eyes?

I find the single led in my MkIII door mirrors quite distracting. Indeed when I first got the car I flinched thinking a side collision was imminent. In the MkII the repeater was not visible to the driver.

I can only agree, I still find my eyes drawn to them now. Those arrow things would put me in a ditch...

Never mind the arrows; LED replacements for incandescent indicator bulbs will change the resistance of the circuit, and hence the flash rate.
