VRS Tdi Estate

Featured Replies

I have recently been a little lighter with my right foot whilst driving my wagon....the results are from a trip this morning a little urban driving then A Roads/dual carriageways which I never let the car go above 60 and put it into Eco mode. Very pleased with what you can achieve.

I've averaged 60 mpg once in my vRS TDI DSG Estate for one journey only in the 46,000 miles I've done.  I always see it as a bonus if I average over 50mpg on a journey!!

I tend to average mid-40s for daily drives around and about. Never managed over 60, highest I got was 58.9 after a 130mile trip last year when it was on 9k.

The car is just on 21k now so will be interesting to see what it does driving to Yorkshire from Liverpool come August.

I don't bother with eco mode though, if anything I have to use more energy pushing my foot further forward. Sport mode all the way lol

I'm a high mileage usage due to being self employed and knocking on the door of 80k miles at moment. Running very sweet, but the warmer temperatures do help.
