Fitting Yellow Powerflex dogbone insert

Featured Replies

Had one of these for a while, so going to give it a go tonight as I think I've got a bit of play in the lower mount.

Any tips for installation? I've read that just partially undoing the bolt at first, rather than removing it entirely, makes it easier to line it up and fit it.  Is this silicone spray best to use, rather than the included grease? I was under the impression that grease would eat away at the standard rubber mount bush?

I've got my torque wrench and replacement bolt ready to go too.

Cheers!

OK, so it's almost done.  One question though; nowhere mentions that the bolt has a captive washer.  Do I keep that on so that there's three washers, or cut it off?
