Can or has anyone made the usb port a permant live feed. I want to use it to charge my phone when I am at work and then i can tuck all the phone and cables the the cubby hole under it away from eyes. Not so easy using cigarette socket which I know is live all the time.

What about using the socket in the boot? Nobody can see that. 

Yep thought of that but normally plug it in on route then close lid when I get out.
