Alternative radio for Citigo/Golf/Mii

Featured Replies

My wife has just taken delivery of her 2017 Seat Mii and is very unimpressed with the radio. It was delivered from stock so we couldn't spec the DAB radio. My question is, has anyone fitted an alternative radio to the little beast and if so what did they fit?

DAB is essential as I have it in my Yeti and she wants the same!

You can get little devices that give you the opportunity to use dab, about £10-£20 on eBay for a new one. They fit into the aux (I'm guessing these models still have them?)

Thanks to both but I want to replace the existing radio as it's carp! To add to rubbish does not make quality.

PS Also posted in the ICE section.

Do you have the upgraded speaker option

I am aware it was a pre built car but it might have specced with the additional speakers

All's I'm saying is it's alright saying existing stereo is carp but it won't sound anyway better with a upgraded stereo ableit with dab

As you say to add to rubbish does not add quality

You will probably need one of these

Plus a stereo of your choice plus a dab aerial

Thanks for that malcster, it'll probably come to that in the end if I  can find a suitable replacement radio.

No speaker upgrade fitted but it's not the sound quality that bothers me it's a very non-intuitive control system that needs reference to the useless handbook almost every time you want to change stations!

I've seen a Kenwood that seems to fit the bill but more research is needed.
