For Sale: Dog Pod (cage) custom made for VW Touran

For sale - dog cage custom-built by Hamster Baskets of Ledbury for my parents' 2013 VW Touran. Cost £250. They recently sold the car and wish to dispose of the dog crate, which is in excellent condition having only been used on two occasions in the three years that they owned it (they had another car which was their dog car).

The cage is manufactured from a plastic coated rigid steel mesh and has two full height access doors on the front and a further two emergency access doors at the rear. A really useful facility is the ability to safely attach leads to collars of dogs contained in the cage before opening the doors. The cage floor is 92 cm wide by 92 cm deep. The floor-to-ceiling height is 78 cm and there is a further useful 12 cm deep storage area on the top of the cage.

The cage will accommodate three medium sized dogs with ease. Unlike other makes of cage which are bare metal, the Dog Pod with its plastic coated mesh does not rattle and of course will not corrode. The cage fits the Touran like a glove - my father was delighted with the precision of the measurements and its manufacture. This is a quality product which will give years of service in transporting your canine companions in comfort and safety.

The cage can be collected from near Buxton, Derbyshire (SK17), or from Sheffield (S17).
