Skoda quote the kerb weight of the Fabia VRS as 1315kg. Does anyone know if this includes all fluids (oil, water, and a full tank of fuel) and also an allowance for the driver.

The only reason I ask is that Ford quote kerb weights with full fluid levels (oil and water), 90% fuel levels and an allowance of 75 kg for the driver. I'm trying to get a comparison.

I've also seen a figure of 1245 kg quoted.

I find it hard to believe that its supposed to be 100 kg or so heavier than a 5 dr Ibiza TDI Sport, and amazingly, heavier than a Golf too.

I think they got the figure badly wrong.

When I get a moment, I'm taking my "vRS" [cough] to a local scrapyard to me.... NO NOT TO LEAVE IT WITH THEM! but to put it on their weighbridge. I'll note down amount of fuel in it at the time. The rest will be more or less as normal, perhaps except the spare wheel.
