All done :biggrin: thanks for all the help.

 

Re-fitting the door carrier over the lock rod was a bit awkward to say the least!! Root cause was quite obvious once i'd removed the window motor :o

Read a few posts where people had difficulty removing the plug from the door lock. However if you push the clip down fully it will pop-off the connector :-

Cheers Lee. I put a bead of plumbers gold along the bottom and sides of the carrier too - just in case :biggrin:

Yep, but I've never used one before so nothing to compare it against, although each rivet only required 3 or 4 'compressions' of the riveter to fit. The only issue i had was with the speaker - there isn't a lot of room to position the riveter over the hole because of the speaker's sides!
