BLS and BXE

Hi all can anyone help a have swapped engines from A BXE to a BLS.

Will the engine and ECU need programming together as the fuel economy is really bad in the new BLS engine.

All a mean by this is could the ECU tell the BXE engine the correct information but since it has changed could the same ECU be telling the new BLS engine the wrong information for wrong fuel economy.

Hi, I took my 2018 Karoq for it's annual service and MOT at a dealership last week. It passed the MOT but they have recommended the following remedial work: Engine coolant pump is leaking and needs replacing - £753 (including parts, labour, VAT) Brake fluid change ~ £100 (including parts, labour, VAT) Spark plug change ~ £175 (including parts, labour, VAT) Can anyone recommend a non-dealership garage that could do this work (hopefully for less!) Thanks

We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? Skoda Octavia Mk 3 2.0 TDI 150, 2016, Mileage: 270 K km. My Skoda has been making some strange shakings since February. Around the time the engine heat hits 90 degrees, which is normal running temperature, the car shakes harshly, sometimes smoothly, sometimes just once, sometimes 2 or 3, or more, with irregular laps in the following 1 or 2 minutes.
