Just trying to figure out once and for all if the SIII Skoda Superbs have a soundaktor install somewhere?

 

I know they're pretty quiet inside, but there is definitely a growl to the engine under load (I have a 220 personally thats been tuned) and it does sound different to a GTI with the soundaktor disconnected.

 

I know what they typically look like and had a pretty thorough look around above the firewall under the cowl, under the windscreen area and front wipers... I didn't see the usual suspect installed there as in most VAG vehicles.

 

Any thoughts or ideas to if and where it might be installed? 

They don't.
