Air con auto enabled when ignition on?

Featured Replies

Hello Briskodians!

I'm looking for a little advice please...

Not entirely sure what I've done but when switching on the ignition of my 2013 Fabia Elegance the air con is automatically on and set at 22* which it never used to do!

All the time I've had the car it used to remember the last settings used.

I would just like to know how to get it back to how it was please.

Thank you in advance and kind regards.

Could be a control unit fault is the car still under warranty?

I've solved the issue... when nothing is selected on the climate control unit it will automatically default to AC on and 22* when the ignition is switched on. As soon as I selected airflow and temperature, switched off ignition and then turned ignition back on it 'remembers' the last setting.

Many thanks for all the input and suggestions anyway.

I missed this otherwise I could have helped... Yeah, 22 and auto is standard on climatronic, unless you set it differently. You can switch from centigrade to fahrenheit too, if desired.
