Mk1 fabia vrs heaters

Featured Replies

Hey got a mk1 fabia vrs and the heaters will not blow hot air.... iv tested the heater flap it's ok water pump it's also ok and removed checked and refitted the thermostat and still the same the top water pipe into the heater matrix is hot but the lower hose is cold to me it only points to a blockage there but not something iv ever come across any other ideas or am I missing something?

Secondly does the vrs have a coolant bleed screw?

Thanks

Mickie

Hi Mickie

I have a Fabia 1.2 HTP but your issue sounds the same as I had, Wino on here helped me sort mine out, here is a link to what I did to sort my problem.

Also, if your expansion tank antifreeze is a dirty colour, it may also be another hint, mine has stayed pink since I sorted the issue.

Hope it helps.
