Passenger seatbelt indicator - does it work for you guys?

Featured Replies

In my new car, the indicator goes off even if the passenger is not belted up, as long as the driver is.

I'm worried that if a weight sensor in the seat is not working, the airbag deployment might be affected?

Back to the dealer to get that fixed i think.

Unless they have changed the design which I doubt, the rear seatbelt indicator is a reminder only. AFAIK there are no sensors in the rear seats, just driver and passenger seats.

I was talking about the front passenger seat.

As above.

Mine takes 20 seconds or so before the alarm goes off. My front passenger is not keen on belts in any car. Glad the alarm is in both our cars.
