Is it just me

When my MOT is due I really hate the feeling of "will it pass"  "wonder what is wrong this year" "what will the tester find" it kind of reminds me of going to the dentist ..........Is it just me ?

I also get this.

I have been fixing cars for the past 20 years and with all my cars I have never had an advisory let alone a failure.

But every time mine or the wifes car goes in for MOT I am more nervous than when she was in hospital giving birth.

Did it pass ??

2 indicator bulbs a bit too white (how do they even decide how orange is orange enough!?) and that license plate bulb later it passed.

Advisory on a rubber gator though.

I needed the car for work so I left the gator until I get back.

How on earth did you get an advisory on an under tray?

Well, MoT inspectors aren't allowed to dismantle the car for better access, so I got the following advisory:-

"Inner CV joint boots - Not able to inspect due to full-length under tray"

Maybe your tester has a fruit bowl handy to match up your indicator bulbs :D

I have had this "under tray " advisory on every mot since I have had the car but it is not on previous mot tests before I got it.......:wondering:
