And more importantly - do you need a visa or will the UK passport cover things?

Went a couple of weeks ago, Hisuronsu. You need to buy a visa and register your passport details before going. $20pp if I remember.

Nice place, been to Olu Dinez 3 times. 

Very friendly place, been a number of times.

 

No issues going with whats happening with their rowdy neighbor (Syria). The Turks said it was having a effect on the holiday trade and they made it very clear were grateful to those who still came.

 

I'd go back in a heart beat.

Been 3 times but never again whilst their President is engaging in Blair style war policy.

 

He broke a 3 year ceasefire and re-started a war with the Kurds (not the Syrians or ISIS) just to get re-elected.

 

You know, the Kurds who during previous versions of this civil war put bombs in tourist buses in Marmaris, blowing up Brits:
