Octavia juddering issues

Featured Replies

Hi there. I have a 60 plate Octavia vrs tdi estate and I noticed today that there was a slight judder in 3rd gear I didn't take any notice as it lasted for a second. A while ago I started the car and as I pulled away the judder was there but this time a little worse, I also noticed that if I put my foot to the floor when the car is parked it won't rev above 2500 rpm. It has had a new clutch dual mass flywheel only 6000 miles ago. If anyone has any idea what the issue could be I would appreciate it.

the car not revving past 2500rpm when parked and in neutral is normal, it's VW's emissions cheat working as i should, on that subject if you get the letter telling you your car needs the "fix" than don't have it carried out it's more trouble then it's worth.

As for the judder i would take it back to the place that done it as it should have a 12,000 mile or 12 month (which ever occurs first) warranty on it.

Hi mate  yeah I have the letter but I haven't taken the car in as didn't think it was worth it. I did let the fuel run quite low like half way down onto the red so now thinking some **** may have passed through the system?

It sounds (hopefully for you) trivial, if it was only a slight judder / stutter and nothing more.
