2008 skoda with 123676 miles on and its a 1.9 TDI PD DSG,,just abit info what are the automatic like thanks

I have a Octavia MK II DSG 1.9TDI from new , year 2007 , current mileage 500k+ , I have only changed the metatronic unit once , the DMF and all the usual running gear - drive shafts shocks and other associated parts etc and I love it very reliable and predicable, it has been used as a taxi for ten years and has allways passed NCT / MOT

We are currently travelling in France, having purchased our Superb Sportline IV last month. I put the car on charge in Le Chartre-sur-le Loir yesterday, just outside Le Mans, at a bargain public charge price of 30 euro cents per Kw to 90% or 19.61 kWh, and headed off to Angouleme, a circa 200-mile drive. The car almost refused to use electricity for the lower speeds when we were heading for the A28 and then used it sparingly until we passed Tours. Once we were rerouted by the Sat Nav after Poi

We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

Hi.... Just a bit of as heads up.... I got in my Superb 1.4 TSi 2018 (50,000 miles) on Friday night and the engine started making an almighty rattling / clattering / knocking noise. When I took it to a local indy garage the next day they said it sounds exactly like another Skoda they had in the previous week. The one they looked at before wasn't a Superb (can't remember which model they said), but it had done similar relatively low mileage and a bolt was loose at the camshaft p

Hi everyone. First off, apologies if this has already been covered. I did take a look but couldn't find anything specific. For history, it's a 13 plate TDI vrs Octavia (MK2) was rattling like a good un' so replaced clutch and flywheel (and slave cylinder) did do a SMFW conversion too. Turns out, that WAS a problem, but the gearbox is also shot, so that's on my list to replace next. Started and drove home fine that night. Next day, I drove it to work (about 20 minutes) no problems. Hi All, I'm new to the forum, this being my first post. I am loving the community so far. I have not long ago got a new to me 2016 Octavia Scout. ODBEleven is showing a P047000 'Exhaust Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit'. I did a little searching around has not found much about this exact fault code. Does any one know what the fault is or can point me in the right direction please?
