Camshaft follower replaced

Featured Replies

After reading many guides, watching Youtube & eventually finding the time to tackle the job I managed to get round to replacing the camshaft follower.

It didn't take long at all and thanks to vRSCarl's guide on here, it was all very straight forward.  The engine cover had a small crack in it already & I managed to make it worse but other than that things went well.

Here are a couple of photos of the old & new for comparison.  My car has done 93k and I don't know if this is original follower or not.  If not, it's lasted extremely well.
