T10 501 W5W CAR SIDE LIGHT LED CANBUS

Featured Replies

I fitted a cheap set of these side light LED's to my car, but after a few weeks they started flickering, which seems symptomatic of these cheap chinese sidelight LED's.

Can anyone recommend a set of these which don't flicker after a few weeks, and are not overly expensive??

I had the same problem with some eBay ones I fitted. I tried these as an impulse buy from ECP, they're great, no errors, no flickering and of course you can just return them if they break nice and easily.

Sorry but have to disagree on these Halford ones. I have them fitted as interior bulbs. There are 4 inside the car, along with the 2 wider ones front and rear. The 2 wider ones are no problem, but for some reason the ones described above don't last longer then a few months. So far 6 have failed, so just recently, I have ordered some other ones on ebay. Lets see if they last!

I use a pair of Philips X-treme Vision LED 360 for my sidelights, they've been great since I fitted them in 2015. They are always on and have covered the best part of 50k so far without a single issue :)

All down to pot luck then. Mine still going strong in the A3.

I have to Halfords ones they are 360 so leds on end and all 4 faces.

they re great but do flicker when I turn ignition on then are fine.

Have to say, I've always had an issue with 501led side-lights, up until recently with new technology.. So here is my latest and BEST>>> Fitted to my Octavia with no issues and no error/warning light.. They are really suited to the Octavia set up and light fills the visible clearance either side of the side-light housing....So give them a try, I think I got these on Aliexpress tho probably available now on ebay!?

Do you have any errors? Because I changed to the same Philips led bulbs and sometimes got errors. "Check front-right side light" and "Check right-right side light"

Do you code something with vcds?
