A 2012 Elegance has full post code but your other post on the Columbus unit notes 2010. If that is the age I believe the is the reason as it change from part post code to full post code around that time.

My wife's car is a 2011 model which did not have full postcode. A firmware and software update really updated it, although it's squeaky bum time whilst it switches on and off!
