Today's chore was to remove 5 old doors from someone's garage to the local tip - aka recycling centre.

 

I went armed with a saw prepared to cut them in half, but the Kodiaq simply swallowed them whole.

 

I had to compromise my usual front seat leg room a bit, but that's when auto makes life easier.

 

Each door was 78" long - or 1,982mm in new money.

Thank you, this is the best way to demonstrate the sheer capacity. Great for IKEA trips, for sure!

Well I know I can fit a single bed mattress (187cm long) in the back of my Octavia estate so yours would appear 10cm longer.

Wonder what you can get into a Superb estate?

A Superb is very long and you get lots in,

a Alhambra less long and you get less in,

a Kodiak shorter again etc etc...

Kitten and I have been looking at many other manufactures, but keep coming back to Skoda.

 

The Kodiac has a BIGGER boot than................

BMW X5

Range Rover Sport

Volvo XC90

AND The Audi Q7, and THAT'S OFFICIAL...

A week after I got mine I did the BoxerBoy test. , I collected 5, full size,  new doors  and put them all straight in (mines an S2, the S3 couldn't have problem either).
