I'm Jo and I have a 2007/2008 Octavia Scout. Love the car to bits, but she's been leading us a merry dance this past 15 months since she broke down! Garage has failed to fix her (new engine fitted so badly it's dangerous, new turbo and gearbox however are a delight!) so we are trying to get a refund from the garage since the car has come home in as bad a state as it went in .... in the meantime since the garage has said they have given up on it (and they still have our money) we are trying to sus out the issues with the car. Really want it back to it's former glory as it's such a great car! Look forward to interacting with fellow Skoda owners, especially if you have a Scout!

Hi there, that doesn't sound good.  Hope you get to the end of that successfully as it sounds shoddy.  Was it a Skoda dealer?
