Turbo issues

Featured Replies

Hi there

I've broken down this morning with suspected turbo issues.

The car started making a howling sort of noise on boost. It almost sounded like it was coming from the exhaust. And then eventually made a sort of sucking noise and then no boost.

There was no black smoke, no loss of oil etc.

The car drives but with no noticeable boost. No black smoke etc.

It's a 56 plate BLT engine. It's not the intercooler hoses.

Could the actuator be stuck?

Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Nope, the turbo is buggered, you're in denial. Have a little weep then get the turbo replaced.
