Customer advised his mechanic has checked and greased them ready for its MOT inspection

 

 

 

 

Should be good for another 20,000 miles

The grease has definitely improved the lifespan that's for sure.

Hmm, black RTV would have been my choice lol

Wow, not much in the way of finesse involved there, so he is not a mechanic or a cake maker, maybe he is just a greaser?

They've been replaced now  

I fitted Cupra ones to keep the stock comfort basically.

We'll never know. (Romour has it he's a master technician at Audi  )

They should have packed it out with tyre valves first and then the grease, definitely another 20k then. 

Now that suggestion is what I'd call creative recycling!

I'm trying to see WTF is there...just looks like melted rubber & grease...cant see wood shavings...
