Service Plan?

Now that I have my new bear, I am deliberating over whether or not to go for a service plan.  

I have the care on 48 month PCP, but will probably look to change it sometime in Year 3.

I've been quoted the following:

3 years £307 service / £397 service and maintenance
4 years £454 service / £891 service and maintenance

Apparently, the huge jump between 3 / 4 year service and maintenance is because Skoda anticipate more parts being need after 36 months!?

Anyway - what are your thoughts?

What annual mileage will you be doing?

@ 3 years there is Brake Fluid to be changed, 

& @ 40,000 miles if you have DSG & Haldex both need servicing.   So are those going to be included in the Service Plan and done at No Extra Charge?

Yes, cars start to disintegrate after 3 years, so get very £££££

 

How many services will you actually get for your service plan, and what is included?

Beware, what you might expect to be included may not be.

 

Can you guess I didn't buy a service plan as even my dealer suggested PAYG as my miles will not be high and I expect only 2 services maximum in my lifetime.
