My factory fitted tow bar has been stolen.   Does anyone here know who the manufacturer is?  Car is 2008 Scout.  It was a lockable type, not that it helped.  I just. Need the tow ball part that slots in underneath the rear bumper.  The rest of the tow bar is already there including electrics.  Any help much appreciated

On a 2008 could have been prof svar. I've been trying to get in contact with them about a replacement key but have never had a reply to my emails.  

might be a long shot but have you asked your local dealer at all? They might be able to point you in the right direction.

 

The factory fit tow bars are made by Westfalia but differ slightly from their retail version by the locking mechanism

They are Westfalia now, but used to be prof svar. Don't even know if they exist anymore though.
