AUTO LIGHTS ACTIVATION?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Initially i remember  (and as far as manual describes)  the auto lights switch was activating the vehicle's lights when speed was above 140km/h for at least 10 secs without speed falling down 140km/h....

Now i've noticed that in order to do that, it passes a time of 30 or 40 or 50 secs and sometimes in 1,5 minute before the lights get on.

Of course speed is not dropping from 140km/h not even for one second in order for the autolights activation.

Does anyone know if there is any adjustment (VCDS) or maybe it depends on various other conditions for the time needed for the auto operation to turn on lights?

Thanks in advance for info.

Regards

Let me add that noiticed also in hard acceleration auto lights turn on quicker, in the known period of 10 secs after speed has increased 140km/h.

So this seems to be another condition (for example..).

Thanks.
